We are excited to present this line of Camo straps made of Italian Veg-tan leather. The eye-catching camo pattern comes in a wide color selection from Army Camo to cheerful hues. With the use of aniline dyes, the natural character on leather hides is not disguised and hidden to archive uniformity. This is truly unique on camo leather without any harsh process. The straps are soft to start with, it will become even more supple with wear. As many veg-tan leathers do, these camo straps have no exception of patina potential. They will age beautifully on the pebble surface.
This Camo Leather comes from Concerta La Perla Azzurra in Italy. With over 50 years of experience, this tannery is well respected for its quality veg tan leathers. It is a part of the prestigious Pelle Conciata al Vegetale in Tuscana Consortium. Camo leather has a medium soft temper that will soften and become more supple with use. It is tanned with extracts of bark and liquored with animal fats inside wooden barrels. It is then dyed with aniline (transparent) colorings, air dried, and polished.
